CORONAVIRUS ADVISORY – By FC Riverside County

CORONAVIRUS ADVISORY – Sports Operations of America is closely monitoring the Coronavirus impact on our communities. Sports Operations of America will place a 3-month suspension on all indoor and outdoor activities.

FC Riverside County is sanctioned by Sports Operations of America. At this time, all soccer leagues by FCRC Adult Soccer Leagues will immediately stop operations.

Dear Members,

Sports Operations of America is closely monitoring COVID-19’s (Coronavirus) impact to our communities across the world. Sports Operations of America is staying up to date with the information provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and state and local agencies where our members operate.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties. Severe symptoms include pneumonia, acute respiratory syndrome, and kidney failure. In mostly all cases, only older patients with pervious underlying conditions have succumbed to COVID-19. Currently, COVID-19 does not appear to pose a death risk to young healthy adults.

Sports Operations of America would like to remind players, staff, supporters to:

  • Practice good hygiene
  • Stop handshaking – use other non-contact methods of greeting
  • Do not share food
  • Be careful with meetings and travel
  • Handle food carefully
  • Stay home if you are sick or if a family member is feeling sick
  • Avoid crowding – supporter groups should stand at least 6 feet apart from each other

Below are some resources to help you learn best practices and information on combating COVID-19:

Under the guidance of the CDC, Sports Operations of America will place a 3-month suspension on all indoor and outdoor activities.

Our hearts and prayers are with the victims of COVID-19. Together, as a community, we will combat COVID-19.

Most Sincerely,
Adrian Aros, President of Sports Operations of America
